Thank you so much Augustine, and you are absolutely right. One of the biggest problems with the stigma of BPD is that people think they can’t help, right? I was constantly told as a support worker to avoid developing any sort of professional relationship or attachment to patients with BPD, that they were just looking for attention but they were “dangerous”.

BPD can be terrifying I totally agree. I’ve made so many mistakes along the way and I know I will many times in the future. Thank you for giving me so much to think about, and definitely more to write about!

This is an extremely important topic for me, so I am so grateful for your advice and insight.
